i had been looking for a xs 1100 but ran across an add for this xs750 triple really clean and low miles,15,000 miles on it.so i went to check it out, and bought it. Definitely a clean bike, clean enough to eat off of ,lol!! this is a really cool bike; 750 cc three cylinder with 75 hp stock, and is shaft driven with duel disk brakes in front and single disk in the rear, and weighs 515lb. first year without points(thats nice) and a 9,000 rpm limit, and a 9.5:1 compression ratio. with DOHC, 2valve per cylinder. very impressive acceleration! I love the way the tank and seat look, makes that bike look really cool, and that cafe style thing behind the seat is pretty sweet too.
why does it have 2 exhausts instead of having, all 3 pipes into 1? as i have a 1976 model Yamaha xs750 triple and it has 3 into 1 exhaust pipe. and has the same color tank and side covers as your 1978 model.
